I’ve been even slower off the mark with getting this page updated this time, but I’m here now …I hope you’re all fine and dandy. Good times were had with ‘poetry slamming’ all over the place, including Worcestershire, Birmingham, Sandwell, Dudley, Bristol, Leeds and London. All this activity (very tiring but loads of fun!) culminated in the first UK SCHOOLS POETRY SLAM FINALS, organised by my good mate DREADLOCKALIEN. Well done and many thanks to everyone involved, especially all the teachers and funding bodies … you know who you are! I start filming in September with the makers of ‘EXPRESSO’. The short poetry based film now has a name … ‘WAITING IN RHYME’. It’s based in a doctor’s waiting room and stars (amongst others to be announced) LES DENNIS... and I’m the main writer – woo hoo! I’m in the process of publishing my first poetry book! I’ve got forty (ish) poems together for it and it will be suitable for children (for a change!). I don’t know what to call it yet, any suggestions gratefully received. Keep checking back as it will be available through the ‘shop’ on this site. I may even do a CD to go with it!
